These multicolor threads are a gorgeous blend of different hues within the same spool. Random, subtle color changes every 2.5" - 5". This thread is long-staple, 100% Egyptian cotton. One strand of 12wt cotton petites equals two strands of the typical embroidery floss (minus the separating!).
Can use to sew with by hand or use as a topstitch thread in a machine (a denim size 16 or topstitch needle works best). While the thread is slightly thinner than sashiko thread, it can be a lovely option.
