This book is astoundingly thorough! The first half of the book feels like a pictorial dictionary of all the stitches that make up flowers ... stems, leaves, petals, twigs, etc. The reader sees a variety of materials used in these stitches. Think: Perle cotton, ribbon, beads, embroidery floss, etc. And the latter part of the book shows illustrated instructions for 80+ embroidery stitches. This will appeal to both new and seasoned stitchers alike as it is *such* a thoroughly curated book. Dare I say a must have for any fans of flower embroidery? Pictures shown are just a sampling of what this book offers.
